I love the budget slam on Debbie, and I love that Priebus is setting appropriate expectations for this week's VP debate. Joe's a gaffe MACHINE, but he's also, as Priebus said, been debating forever. I think conservatives, including us, have our expectations set too low for Biden's performance. He's a moron, obviously, but he's quite good at making other morons think that what he's saying is true, as evidenced by the reactions he's had at various campaign events.
So while I'm looking forward to watching, I'm trying to temper my enthusiasm somewhat, because what conservatives need to remember is that this country is full of liberals who, even after Obama's abysmal performance last week and during his last entire term, still plan to vote for him.
Joe Biden could seriously come on stage kicking puppies and punching nuns, and liberals would stll be all, "OMG Obama/Biden 2012!!"
Not trying to bring y'all down or anything, but I've been completely depressed this weekend that this election is even CLOSE. W.T.F.
