Trump seems kinda bent out of shape that Bernie Sanders had a townhall on Fox News, y’all.
First, there was this tweet:

Um, WTH does that even mean? Now “we” have Donna Brazille?
If Donald Trump is going to rip on the press for being “fake news” and be upset with the unfair coverage given to him by the vast majority of networks (and believe me, I don’t fault him for those things), then maybe he shouldn’t write tweets that make it sound like he has some sort of business partnership or personal investment with Fox News.
“We” don’t have Donna Brazille. Fox News hired Donna Brazille as a contributor. That has nothing to do with Trump, although I certainly wouldn’t blame liberals for accusing Trump of having Fox News in his pocket after a statement like that.
And this is why so many of his tweets make me crazy. He just can’t help himself – I realize this – but DAYUM.
This morning, I read this article, and rolled my eyes again. Trump is STILL complaining about the Sanders townhall. Look at this tweet from last night:

Not gonna lie – the references to himself in third person make me cringe. And look – I don’t know what happened with the townhall audience. But it seems counterproductive for the POTUS to be questioning Fox News about how they conducted their townhall, given that Fox News has been the only news station that has been remotely fair to him during his entire presidency.
Trump went on to tweet his thoughts about the Democrat race in 2020:

I am completely on board with this. Bernie Sanders was a disingenuous old fool when faced with questions about his taxes by Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum. If he wants the wealthy to pay more, then he should set the example for that. If he doesn’t want to apologize for his wealth, then he shouldn’t constantly be vilifying other millionaires for theirs.

“May God Rest Their Soul?????” COME ON.
I know tons of people out there love the way Trump trolls. And there are lots of times that I enjoy it too. But then there are tweets like these, where I question the motive, and wonder if he’s really thought them through.
Especially since the Democrat candidates are gonna troll right back.
Looks like President Trump is scared of our campaign. He should be.

Pete Buttigieg is planning a Fox News townhall as well, and given his charm and charisma and adeptness at seeming relatable, I expect he’ll gain a few converts as a result. If only people would look at his craptacular record in South Bend.
