Second Boston Billionaire Wanted In Connection With The Prostitution Ring In Florida

I still can’t believe Robert Kraft got himself caught up in a freaking prostitution ring. Are you KIDDING me, man? That’s horrific and gross.

The story is only expected to get worse. Apparently, Kraft isn’t even the biggest name involved.

We’re now seeing the name of another Boston billionaire connected to the case: John Childs.

Billionaire equity firm owner John Childs is one of several men accused of soliciting prostitution in connection with a Florida spa tied to an international human trafficking ring, police said Thursday.

Childs, who lives seasonally in Indian River Shores, is wanted on a solicitation of prostitution charge, according to a warrant for his arrest. He has not been arrested.

Childs owns J.W. Childs Associates, a private equity firm based in Massachusetts.

He’s a prominent donor to several Republican politicians and groups, including former U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan, Club for Growth and 2012 presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

However, he’s denying it. All of it.

“The accusation of solicitation of prostitution is totally false. I have retained a lawyer,” he told Bloomberg News. “I have received no contact by the police department about this charge,” he said.
