The Fake News Media Just Proved Trump’s Point

President Trump went on a mini rant this morning. It was nothing we haven’t heard before.

There is great anger in our Country caused in part by inaccurate, and even fraudulent, reporting of the news. The Fake News Media, the true Enemy of the People, must stop the open & obvious hostility & report the news accurately & fairly. That will do much to put out the flame…

I think those tweets were inspired by the fact that MSM is OBSESSED with blaming every evil act in the world on Trump. (And yes– they’ve been doing that.) However, after I skimmed the tweets, I knew what the headlines would be: “Trump Calls The Media The ENEMY Of The People!”…or some variation of that.

Looks like I was right. This is the headline the Associated Press decided to go with:

“Trump says media is ‘Enemy’ after shooting, bomb plot.”

Just one problem. He didn’t.

President Donald Trump is accusing the media of being “the true Enemy of People” in the wake of a mass shooting and a mail bomb plot.

Trump tweeted Monday: “There is great anger in our Country caused in part by inaccurate, and even fraudulent, reporting of the news.” He added that the media “must stop the open & obvious hostility & report the news accurately & fairly.”

That’s a blatant lie. Trump didn’t call the press the enemy of the people. He called the Fake News Media the enemy of the people. I repeat– the FAKE NEWS MEDIA. If news outlets want to take that personally (and the AP should, because LOOK AT THE WHOPPER THEY JUST REPORTED), then that’s on them.

Keep up the dishonesty MSM. Really, you’re only proving his point.
