I knew this would happen. I knew it. I just thought it would occur next week.
Kavanaugh released a statement on the new FBI investigation.
“I’ve done everything they have requested and will continue to cooperate,” he said.
So Democrats are happy now, right? Spartacus– you good? Of course not!
Trump said this investigation would be quick- wrapped up within the week. It took approximately 4 seconds for Democrats to move the goalpost.
Ford’s attorney, Debra Katz, immediately said that there should be “no artificial limits as to time or scope should be imposed on this investigation.” In other words, they want a long, unnecessarily drawn out investigation.

What if not done in one week?
Flake: "It has to be done within a week or we move forward."
What if they don't produce a report in one week?
"I fully expect them to have a report." https://t.co/vMHmgUGWRZ— Michael Mathes (@MichaelMathes) September 28, 2018
Mark my words. Democrats will be RIOTING at the end of the week. They only want an FBI investigation if it results in 1.) A massive delay in his confirmation. As in, after the midterms. 2.) Him getting BUSTED, which isn’t going to happen because THERE IS NO EVIDENCE HE DID ANYTHING HE’S BEEN ACCUSED OF.
Sorry for shouting. Democrats are just SO OBVIOUS.
"Why won't you ask the FBI to delay your confirmation vote based on allegations you say are complete nonsense in order to give Democrats time to push off your nomination beyond the election, thus surrendering your nomination?" — Democrats to Kavanaugh

BINGO.
WHO COULD HAVE PREDICTED SUCH A RESPONSE? (aside from everyone with a brain) https://t.co/Fo3vKqC5TV

All part of the plan!
Delay. Delay. Delay. https://t.co/R7pwC0MDdv

"Surely one week is fair and reasonable."
*agrees to one week*
*WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ARTIFICIAL LIMITATIONS TO ONLY ONE WEEK."
It's like they've never seen this trick before.

The goal is not to appease the implacable. It’s to show more good faith for wavering Senators & voters. https://t.co/eLD8BoF5p4

I guess that’s how we have to view this. Democrats will remain unsatisfied no matter what.
