Democrats Want A Translator To Divulge What Trump Said To Putin During Their Private Meeting

President Trump sat down for a private meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki earlier this week. Everyone has been freaking out over what went down at the press conference (Trump later clarified and said, “I accept our intelligence community’s conclusion that Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election took place”), but we don’t know what went down during their two-hour meeting. After all, it was just Trump, Putin and their translators.

Democrats want Trump’s translator– Marina Gross– to divulge. Some Democrats in Congress are actually calling for her to testify, which is SO INAPPROPRIATE.

Democratic Rep. Bill Pascrell is urging Gowdy to make it happen.

“Given the public concessions” Trump made to Putin “by siding against the US intelligence community, law enforcement, and our military officials about Russia’s attack on our democracy, Congress and the American public deserve to know the details of their private conversation,” Pascrell wrote. “Serving as a translator, it has been reported that Ms. Marina Gross was the only other American in the room and so the sole reliable witness to the conversation between the two world leaders.”

He’s looking for a full blown subpoena.

“We need public testimony by the only American present at this meeting to ensure Trump did not further undermine our intelligence or law enforcement communities,” he wrote.

Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen also wants Gross to testify.

“I believe the Senate Foreign Relations Committee should hold a hearing with the American interpreter who was present during President Trump and President Putin’s private meeting to determine what was specifically discussed and agreed to on the United States’ behalf,” she said.

As you can see, Democrats are now demanding a translator to divulge what was said during a private meeting simply because they’re suffering from the end stages of Trump Derangement Syndrome. That’s where we’re at now.
