SHOCKER: Traitor Chelsea Manning Won’t Be A Senator Any Time Soon

ANY time I write about Chelsea Manning, I get some “OMG YOU’RE TRANSPHOOOOBIC”  bullcrap.

No. I actually pity Chelsea’s mental state. It’s clear this individual has significant mental health issues that require compassionate care. Chelsea isn’t getting that. Like many other “trans” people, Chelsea’s mental illness is being enabled by insane, virtue-signaling leftists. I find that tragic. I think Chelsea’s actions clearly illustrate that this enabling is pushing “her” to the brink.

I don’t hate Chelsea for being trans. Not at all. That’s like hating an anorexic person. If anything, I cut Chelsea some slack for the LUDICROUS things that come out of “her” mouth and the fact that she’s an ACTUAL TRAITOR because I think she’s in a dark mental place. She’s not in “her” right mind. She’s made that abundantly clear in many, many ways.

She needs help. It’s SICK that the left parades this person around and neglects the OBVIOUS.

Anyway… in news that comes as a shock to NO ONE, Chelsea lost her senatorial bid last night.

According to this: 

Chelsea Manning has lost her bid to run for the Senate in Maryland after being beaten to the Democratic nomination by Senator Ben Cardin.

The popular and well-funded incumbent easily took victory in his bid for a third Senate term on Tuesday.

He beat out Manning – the convicted leaker of U.S. government secrets – and six other longshot challengers in Tuesday’s crowded primary and will face Tony Campbell in the November general election.

Following the loss, Manning took to Twitter to thank her followers for their donations and support.

‘Each and every one of us has power. Our movement is only getting started,’ she wrote.

She also issued a lengthier statement saying her campaign had ‘advanced an anti-authoritarian agenda’ with ideas she wanted to push ‘into the mainstream and onto the ballot.’

She described her Senate bid as part of a ‘growing political insurrection.’

Yeah. Ok.

Manning also disclosed that she had to step back from campaigning to prioritize her health.

‘I found the space and the treatment I need to heal, with close friends by my side to provide love and support,’ she said.

Days after tweeting in May that the primaries were ‘rigged’ and there was no point in voting, Manning made headlines after a photo on her Twitter account apparently showed her on an upper-story window ledge.

Kelly Wright, a friend who also served as her campaign communications director, told the AP at the time that Manning needed ‘space to heal’ but would still run.

This is really, REALLY sad.

This person is literally suicidal. People like Kelly Wright realize Chelsea needs to work on mental health… but then continue to enable a bullsh*t political campaign?

HELPING A SUICIDAL TRANSEXUAL PERSON RUN FOR SENATE ISN’T “HELP.” IT’S VIRTUE SIGNALING AT ITS VERY WORST.

Manning – the former US Army soldier and well-known transgender activist – was Cardin’s best- known rival in this primary.

But she ran an unorthodox, grassroots campaign that failed to resonate with many voters.

Her campaign platform including abolishing the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, closing prisons, freeing inmates and eliminating national borders.

Close prisons and let all prisoners FREEEEE.

That’s definitely something a sane person says.

Outside Manning’s involvement, the contest attracted such little attention that there were no debates, few candidate forums and hardly any polling.

Cardin has name recognition within the state and easily defeated eight challengers in his last primary.

He served 20 years in the U.S. House before becoming a senator in 2006.

In her statement, Manning spoke of how witnessing how ‘scary and unjust’ the world had become since her release from prison drove her to run for Senate in her home state.

‘Last year, when I was released from prison, I emerged into a world of hate and injustice,’ she said.

I traveled across the country. I saw immigrants, people of color, queer and trans folk under attack.

‘I saw our most vulnerable communities living under a de facto military occupation of violent, heavily-armed police forces.

…What?

‘I’ve seen what a military occupation looks like first-hand: I participated in the U.S. occupation of Iraq from 2009-2010.’

Right. So you should realize how INSANE a statement that is.

She added: ‘Witnessing how scary and unjust the world has become drove me to run for U.S. Senate in my home state of Maryland.

‘After spending nearly a decade of my life experiencing homelessness, war, prison, and solitary confinement, I wondered if I should step back from the spotlight and spend my first year of freedom recovering.

‘But I couldn’t sit still. I couldn’t watch things get worse while our so-called leaders continue to treat these systemic problems with empty platitudes and piecemeal reform.’

She spoke about her campaign’s policies – including calling for the ‘complete abolition’ of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) which she says ‘continues to imprison children and separate countless families with its brutal, Gestapo-like tactics.’

Her policies also included defunding and dismantling the police and military and an end to the ‘terror and violence they’ve inflicted abroad and in our own communities,’ she said.

Manning said she had tried to use her position as a public figure to send the message that ‘every one of us has power.’

However, she said that her experiences took an ‘enormous toll’ on her physical and emotional health and she had stepped back from campaigning to prioritize her health.

‘Win or lose, our campaign is part of a growing political insurrection,’ she added.

‘Recently, we have seen average people across the country mobilize to shut down ICE detention centers and confront politicians and police through individual and collective direct action.

‘Our power is real. Our movement is larger than any election, and the political establishment ignores our voices at their own peril.

‘I’m not giving up. Together we can do better. Together we can win.’

Sad. It’s all sad.
