January 8, 2024The US Men’s Junior National Hockey team won Gold at the World Junior World Championship beating out Sweden on Friday. They celebrated their victory in the most amazing way.
I don’t know about you all, but I got chills! And I for sure teared up. The amount of Patriotism in this clip is beautiful. Meanwhile, we have the US National Women’s Soccer team kneeling for the National Anthem. They could learn a thing or two from these men.
Of course something this patriotic couldn’t happen without some controversy. I did not see it in real time, but Twitter is very mad about ESPN supposedly ignoring this wonderful display of love for their country.
If this is the case, that’s shameful and incredibly annoying. But in any case, shoutout to those young men for showing the rest of the country what true Patriotism looks like. It’s really lovely to see. You gotta love hockey men!
