Piers Morgan has his moments, but when it comes to guns, he really shouldn’t talk. He’s made it abundantly clear that he doesn’t understand or appreciate the beauty of the Second Amendment. Every time there’s some sort of gun related tragedy, Morgan lets the stupid fly.

America’s response to 2 of the worst mass shootings in its history: https://t.co/7T0S7CwzZD

As I wrote before:
Americans love the Second Amendment. We know the importance of keeping and bearing arms. Some of us have guns for protection. Others for sport. Others are collectors, and some just buy guns because they can. When I bought my AR-15, I had no plans for it. I just wanted one. I knew it was something I could have forever. If things ever went south, it would be more valuable than money. I like knowing that. I like that I could use it to protect my family or to get some dinner in the “apocalypse.” I like knowing that ME keeping and bearing arms keeps the government in check. I hope I never have to use my gun to protect myself or loved ones from criminals or something crazy like the government, but I like knowing I have the means to do whatever is necessary for survival.
It’s my right, Piers. We’re a free people.
I’m not mad at Piers. I just feel sorry for him. It must suck to actually believe and accept that the government has a right to tell you that you cannot own guns.
This is not a sick joke.

Warning criminals that you WILL defend yourself = sick in the mind in Piers Morgan. He doesn’t like deterrents, I guess.
It shouldn’t be a ‘political opinion’ to suggest civilians should not get access to such high-powered weapons. https://t.co/gcAMyL4vcQ

And now, there’s this.
So FOUR ‘good guys with a gun’ were not able to stop the bad guy.
I think this kinda ends the ‘arm the teachers’ bullsh*t, don’t you? https://t.co/hVHtw7negn— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) February 23, 2018
I’m not saying that liberals are taking that awful fact as a victory, but they are using it to make another completely misguided point. If anything, this proves that civilians need another line of defense. At the end of the day, you can only truly depend on yourself. If we want to get serious about protecting our kids, we need metal detectors, competent and courageous armed guards and qualified teachers trained in the use of firearms.
So no. This ends NOTHING, Piers.
Actual proves the opposite. The deputies aren’t required by law to engage or protect individuals from harm and just proved government won’t always protect your life. When evil comes to your door, you are the last defense, especially in the classroom. https://t.co/srHusvODek

Ah, I see….
My apologies.
I was labouring under the absurd misapprehension that you NRA nuts believe ‘good guys with guns’ are the answer to bad guys with guns.
How silly of me! https://t.co/7QhV27C702— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) February 23, 2018
Um, we ARE the solution. We want MORE GOOD ARMED CIVILIANS. I also need to say, there are thousands of brave officers across the country who would’ve reacted differently than those four, and Piers knows it.
The point stands. This doesn’t change the argument. Imagine if Aaron Feis had been armed. He willingly gave his life to protect those kids, and with a gun, there’s a chance could’ve saved himself and so many more.
