Even ROSEANNE Has Something To Say About Fergie’s Disastrous National Anthem

Did you catch Fergie’s UNHINGED rendition of the National Anthem at last night’s NBA All-Star game?

Holy mother of DRUGS.

Here it is again…

What in the FRESH HELL was that?

I mean… at least drugs would at least be a valid explanation for this mess. But I dunno… the arrangement was obviously supposed to sound “jazzy” which makes me think someone signed off on this crap ahead of time.

As in… this was planned. Multiple humans thought this was a good idea. WHY, HUMANS? WHYYYYY????

Anyway… it used to be that Roseanne Barr held the title for “Worst National Anthem EVER.”

But… Roseanne was never a singer…. so her stupid stunt was just plain disrespectful.

Fergie’s was SUPPOSED to be good… because she SUPPOSEDLY has the ability to sing… but she did THAT.

So um… yeah. They’re both pretty freaking bad.

Roseanne, however, thinks Fergie’s was worse.

According to US Magazine:

Nearly three decades ago, Roseanne Barr took the field at an MLB game to sing the national anthem. The off-key performance, which ended with the actress spitting and grabbing her crotch, was widely criticized and even caught the attention of then-President George H.W. Bush, who called it “disgraceful.”

But Barr, 65, doesn’t think her screechy rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” was nearly as bad as the sultry one that Fergie sang at the 2018 NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, February 18. Hours after the former Black Eyed Peas singer, 42, hit the court at Los Angeles’ Staples Center, the Roseanne star tweeted, “Who saw Fergie’s national anthem performance at the NBA All Star Game? I think mine was better lowkey.”

I don’t know about that, Roseanne… but I DO think this may be a close second.

Twitter users berated Fergie after Sunday’s performance, with many people calling it “the worst rendition ever.” During the two-minute number, the camera panned through the arena, catching the reactions of the athletes and celebrities on the court and in the audience. Jimmy Kimmel, Chance the Rapper and Golden State Warriors player Draymond Green were among those who visibly laughed at the singer’s histrionics.

But seriously… Twitter lost its collective MIND over this…

And rightly so. It was horrific.
