Mitt Romney Uses His MLK Day Message To Take A Jab At President Trump

It is “highly likely” that Mitt Romney is running for a senate seat in Utah. Orrin Hatch is out, and Romney will probably swoop in. At least, that’s what his friend is telling CBS News.

“I can not confirm it, but I think it is highly likely he’s going to move forward,” Dan Senor, a former adviser to House Speaker Paul Ryan and former senior adviser to Romney.

Senor said that he had spoken to Romney but noted, “I am not a spokesman for him, I’m just a friend.”

I’m neutral on it. I don’t care if he runs.

While Romney hasn’t made it official, we know he recently talked to President Trump.

Here’s my question. Will Trump withdraw his blessing if Romney starts expressing his crappy feelings toward him again? I mean… it’s happening. Romney used his MLK Day tweet to take a swipe at Trump, which is pretty messed up if you ask me.

The poverty of an aspiring immigrant’s nation of origin is as irrelevant as their race. The sentiment attributed to POTUS is inconsistent w/ America’s history and antithetical to American values. May our memory of Dr. King buoy our hope for unity, greatness, & “charity for all.”

Romney is very carefully advancing the false narrative that Trump insulted the PEOPLE of those craphole countries. He didn’t. He simply acknowledged that their countries are, in fact, crapholes. It’s kind of douchey of Romney to take this cheap shot in an MLK Day tweet.
