This is truly next level depravity. But what could we possibly expect from a society that desperately wants to mainstream radical and depraved late-term abortion procedures? If you’re totally fine ripping a baby apart and sucking out the pieces because that baby was an inconvenience to an irresponsible adult, why wouldn’t you be totally fine with unnecessary medical treatments that you know will damage the baby in utero?
It's nearly impossible for gender ideology or queer theory to shock me anymore. But the paper this article is referring to revealed a new depth of derangement I hadn't yet fathomed.

"Moral disgust" doesn't even begin to describe how it makes me feel.https://t.co/zBviGmeHL9 pic.twitter.com/x1qp5VrLFm
An article in Science Direct takes depravity and narrative-driven “science” to a whole new level. Obviously, they never use the word “women” except to disparage the term generally as nothing more than a social construct. But aside from that, they argue that biological females who are pregnant but who identify as transgender and are transitioning to “men” should not be discouraged from continuing testosterone treatments, even though those testosterone treatments could harm the baby.
They talk about how important it is to affirm their transgender identity and that discouraging continued hormone treatment simply to protect the baby is harmful to the trans identifying person. They imply that any evidence that testosterone treatments could be harmful to the baby is “imbued with normative judgements about potential fetal outcomes.” Basically, if the research was more woke, maybe it wouldn’t say there was any harm being done to the baby.
Their rhetoric also makes it seem like they would have you believe that it’s an antiquated and bigoted idea that doctors should protect the health of the baby. As though it’s bigoted to oppose treatments that could damage the baby and then bigoted to say that the baby was damaged, because even the idea of “undamaged” is bigoted. Who’s to say that a baby who suffers adverse health effects from unnecessary testosterone treatments to the mother during pregnancy is “damaged?” That’s just a “cisnormative assumption.”
Bottom line is, they are perfectly fine sacrificing the health of a baby in utero if it means affirming the gender identity of an adult, and I’m equal parts disgusted and not at all surprised. Once upon a time, adults and parents were willing to sacrifice everything to protect children, but that time is clearly past.

America’s biggest problem today is narcissism and “gender” is only adding fuel to the fire.
