Because I’m actually an 81-year-old woman inside, I didn’t do anything special to ring in the new year. I actually visited my Grammy, got a vanilla chia at Dunkin’ Donuts on my way home, made a turkey rye sandwich with Vermont cheddar cheese and fancy mustard, sampled a cookie and briefly flipped through the channels. I think I watched Florida Georgia line perform and that’s about it. I was in bed before midnight.
Wild, I know.
I’m starting to wonder if I made a mistake, though. CNN’s coverage looked wildly ridiculous, and I’m all for mocking them. I’m kinda sad I missed it.
It seems like Don Lemon gets completely smashed every year, and this year was no different. It’s interesting, though. At one point, Brooke Baldwin– the CNN anchor who was clutching her pearls after Clay Travis talked about boobs during a segment not too long ago…
…–decided to say an inappropriate word of her own. BALLS.
“By the way, my balls are bigger than your balls,” she told Lemon.
“Probably,” Lemon said.

Here’s a longer clip.
Again. This is the same woman who was traumatized by the word boobs.
That was… I just… it was one of those thought bubbles "did he actually say that on MY SHOW?!" Note to men — that is never okay. #smh

Clay Travis played this beautifully.
I DEMAND A PUBLIC APOLOGY ON BEHALF OF ALL MEN FROM @BrookeBCNN! HOW DARE SHE TALK ABOUT B-A-L-L-S on live TV?! https://t.co/z7IwjMQt5n

I live for this stuff. 🙂
