500,000 People Have Left California In Just Two Years

You mean to tell me that draconian laws, insane left-wing policies, a state turning into a literal crap hole, and a crime rate out the wazoo means people don’t want to stick around?  Weird.  Way to go Gavin!  You’re doing great, bud. 

But alas, according to ABC Los Angeles, California’s population has dropped by more than half a million people since the 2020 pandemic.  The article states that the main reason people left was due to the cost of living being too high.  Which, I’m sure is a big part of it.  But you can’t tell me that is the only reason.

It looks lovely. I don’t know why anyone would want to leave.

Paul Ong, the Director for the Center for Neighborhood Knowledge at UCLA stated that he believes part of the reason so many people left was due to people being scared of COVID.  He stated that people moved “away from the denser urban core, where COVID-19 risk was perceived as being higher.”  Ok, sure dude.  We believe that.

California hasn’t been great for a while, and yes, high cost of living has a lot to do with it. But Gavin Newsom (and his radical left-wing policies) have completely destroyed the state.  I don’t blame people for leaving.
