We have now seen not one, not two, but three trains derailed in the past week. One in Ohio, one in Texas, and one in South Carolina.
🚨There is now a THIRD train derailment in Enoree, South Carolina

No confirmation yet of any casualties or chemical spills
All we know is that something is seriously wrong with our train systems
Where is Pete Buttigieg?!
Where is the media coverage?!https://t.co/kR7vyNuDcl
But has Mayor Pete commented on any of this? Of course not, he is only the Transportation Secretary, you guys. You can’t actually expect him to talk about transportation issues. In the words of Joe Biden, “Come on, man!”
But what he is talking about is something far more important. Construction workers are too white. We need more diversity. At a conference earlier today he stated, “we have heard way too many stories from generations past of infrastructure where you got a neighborhood, often a neighborhood of color, that finally sees the project come to them, but everyone in the hard hats on that project, doing the good paying jobs, don’t look like they came from anywhere near the neighborhood.”

This is clearly the most important issue that needs addressed right now. Thank God Biden chose the most qualified person for the job when he appointed the Transportation Secretary. Because Buttigieg is clearly doing a stand up job addressing all the important issues Americans are concerned about right now.

I hate to agree with Pete but he is not wrong I was just at a construction site in an affluent white neighborhood. There was only 1 white person out of the dozen or so workers I saw. Didn’t hear any English spoken either.
I was thinking the same thing; around here (Chattanooga, TN), every construction site has primarily Hispanic workers, mostly speaking Spanish amongst themselves.
Where the actual EFF is this idiot coming from with this? Around here, almost all road construction crews are at least 50% hispanic, about 30% black, and the remaining 20% a hodgepodge of the remainder (whites, asians). Yes, I realize I am a sample size of 1 but “c’mon man!” get out there and look at your construction sites (of all types). It ain’t all evil whitey.
For the Dems, the only line they’ve got is “it’s all evil whitey all the time.”
If ever there were better evidence that “racism” is merely a deflection these people use from actual problems I don’t believe I’ve seen it.
So now construction companies need to have several teams with persons of different ancestry they can change out depending on the ancestry of the people in the neighborhood they happen to be working in? How exactly does that work? What if they are working in a normal American mixed neighborhood?
How about they just hire Americans and call it a day? If the construction company discriminates against any American who applies because of their ancestry, then we allow the applicant to sue them, and the government can refuse to give the company any construction contracts. Seems fair to me and kind of like we have now. If you are an American and are discriminated against in hiring, sue the basta_ds.
