December 2, 2022I’m not opposed to trans and female actresses. I just don’t like when woke entertainment companies decide to hijack beloved stories and butcher them to fit their woke narrative. If you want a trans woman staring in a movie about a clever detective, then write a new story about a clever detective who is a trans woman and cast a trans woman. Don’t hijack Sherlock Holmes and cast a man with breasts as the beloved and iconic MALE detective character. And if you want a woman staring in a movie about a tenacious and daring anthropologist and adventurer, then write a new story about a tenacious and daring female anthropologist and adventurer and cast a woman. Don’t hijack Indiana Jones and replace the beloved and iconic MALE anthropologist and adventurer with a woman. Just make your own new and different story however you want. You don’t need to hijack every story and every movie to make it woke. Just make your own different woke story.
But they can’t do that because their woke stories and movies historically perform very poorly. They have to piggyback off of popular and beloved series, otherwise their new woke stories would tank. So that’s where we are. It has now been revealed that biologically male, gender-fluid, trans comedian/actress Eddie Izzard to become Sherlock Holmes in a new drama series called Sherlock’s Daughter. It is unclear whether the character will be portrayed as a trans woman or as a man, however Izzard declared 2 years ago that she prefers female pronouns and plans to be “based in girl mode from now on.”
And Disney is making a 5th Indiana Jones movie with 80 year old Harrison Ford, whose character will be replaced at the end of the movie by a basically unheard of female actress. This is because “insiders claim Kathleen Kennedy, the Hollywood producer behind the franchise, is keen to make ‘big, bold’ changes – with few bigger than switching the lead character to a woman.”

These woke revisions of well-established franchises are like rappers who samples the works of other artists. It’s laziness on their part to create one’s own original material.
I believe they also want to “remake” these movies because they want to basically destroy the characters and what they stand for. Will they lose money? Sure. But they don’t care because some idiot somewhere will front the money for it. Then when it bombs everyone can take a “loss”. It’s basically money laundering, Hollywood-style (watch the “Producers”, either the original with Gene Wilder/Zero Mostel or the remake with Matthew Broderick/Nathan Lane to get an idea)
Obviously they aren’t paying attention to recent results. Chick-only Ghostbusters bombed. Disney’s Lightyear and Strange World bombed. These will bomb, too.

Kathleen Kennedy very nearly killed Star Wars so now they are giving her something else to destroy? At this point I think the corruption of everything that was once held in high regard is intentional and not just happenstance to the money grab.
