November 4, 2022I still don’t personally know a single person who has died from COVID or even from what could be considered COVID-related complications. Not a single one. I do personally know one man who was hospitalized with COVID. He’s 92 and survived. My husband and I had COVID and it was basically a really exhausting, severe, and lingering cold. My kids all had COVID and it was a couple of days of sniffles. And while I understand that this is not everyone’s experience, I don’t appreciate my family being forced to live a “new normal” designed by people who are pathologically afraid of the virus. Just because people like Howard Stern (who didn’t leave his house for 2 full years) and others are suffering psychosis doesn’t mean we all have to enable and cater to their psychosis.
Enter this man, who publicly declared on Twitter that “If I were forced to be infected by either HIV or COVID, I would choose HIV without hesitation.” Without hesitation, he says.
If this seems just a bit extreme, you’ll be interested to know that he doubled down.

I understand the point you make, but let us not forget that more than 225,000 people HAVE died from Covid or from complications related to it. Most of those who have died were old and middle-age and had weak immune systems caused by underlying health conditions. Very few otherwise healthy people have died from Covid.
I love the false equivalences. He would rather have HIV because he thinks both are guaranteed long term negative effects even though the research on COVID doesn’t seem to indicate this. Though I would find it ironic if it happens to be the spike protein, that is also produced by the vaccine, that is causing the issues and happens to do so regardless of the virus being present.
This gem had my eyes rolling in the back of my head though:

It’s like their brain shuts down and they can’t math any more.
Similar to all the “gender” nonsense we’ve got a lot of bad science trying to cover for itself and people are spreading the misinformation like wildfire because any counter narrative is shut down before it can gain ground.
