Talk about the party of inclusion and tolerance, the leading caucus for Latino Congress members, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC), won’t let Texas Representative Mayra Flores, a hispanic woman, join their caucus. Why? Because only Democrats are included and tolerated. As usual, the inclusion and tolerance only applies to people they like, agree with, or believe serve their purposes. And a strong, outspoken, influential Republican hispanic woman like Mayra Flores isn’t someone they like, agree with, or believe will serve their purposes, so they feel no obligation to be inclusive or tolerant of her.
They blocked @RepDonaldsPress from joining the Congressional Black Caucus.

Now they rejected @repmayraflores from joining the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.
The open racism of the Democrat Party knows no bounds. https://t.co/qwOvBKCWtz
According to Townhall,
“Flores requested to join CHC in early October and was rejected shortly thereafter. Flores is not only first Mexican-born woman to serve in Congress, but she also represents a district along the U.S.-Mexico border that is overwhelmingly Latino.”
According to the Caucus website, they claim that their Caucus “addresses national and international issues and crafts policies that impact the Hispanic community. The function of the Caucus is to serve as a forum for the Hispanic Members of Congress to coalesce around a collective legislative agenda.” You’d think that, as the first Mexican-born female Congressional Representative of an overwhelmingly hispanic district, she would certainly qualify for a group that supposedly addresses the national and international issues and policies that might impact the hispanic community. You’d think that, as a hispanic female member of congress, she’d be a valuable asset to a group that claims to serve as a legislative forum for hispanic members of congress. But Mayra Flores doesn’t count because Mayra Flores has the audacity to be a Republican and a conservative hispanic female Congressional Representative. How DARE she!
Reminds me a lot of Byron Donalds, a black Republican conservative Congressional Representative who was blocked from joining the Congressional Black Caucus because he dared to be a Republican. Again, so inclusive, so tolerant.

She wouldn’t fit in anyway. She is truthful and honorable. Liberals are obsessively intolerant.
I would’ve actually been shocked if they had let her in. Ideology and adherence to the narrative come first for the left, who control those caucus groups.
