As Halloween Nears, Here’s A Guide To “Ghost/Ghostself” Pronouns From Someone Who Identifies As Multiple Ghosts

This person says she feels that “ghost pronouns” are “a further, deeper description of my gender personally.” She then refers to “another one of our alters, Gabe,” who “also uses ghost/ghostself pronouns” sometimes. Clearly not at the moment of the filming of this video as she repeatedly refers to Gabe as “he” instead of “ghost.” I know, it’s so hard to keep track when you just make stuff up.

The person behind the TikTok filter then says that Gabe “could technically be considered a ghost because of his source, but also because of his source, he doesn’t consider himself a ghost.” Does anyone know what language she’s is speaking? Because I’m a bit confused. But my best interpretation is that she says Gabe is an “alter,” perhaps meaning an alter personality. Self-diagnosis with split personality, or dissociative identity disorder (DID), has become increasingly trendy among mentally ill radical gender activists. But the legitimately mentally ill don’t usually diagnose themselves, unless a faux diagnosis happens to affirm a person’s delusional nonreality, like identifying as a ghost or even multiple ghosts.

She admits that “Gabe’s” claim to “ghost/ghostself” pronouns is more legit, presumably due to the fact that Gabe doesn’t actually exist except in this person’s mind (like a ghost…). But she still insists that ghost/ghostself pronouns are “more comfortable for me and better describes how my gender feels to me.” Her gender being “ghost.” It’s a frightening world we live in.
