She released a much longer statement on YouTube which you can watch below, but above is the gist.
Now, before anyone gets too excited, it’s not like she’s a Republican now – she’s just leaving the Democrat party and is now Independent.
And now she’s got a show, which is highly produced and looks/sounds amazing. What will this mean for her future political career? Who knows. It’d be super interesting to see a DeSantis/Gabbard ticket, but honestly I am not sure if I’m 100% sold on her just yet.

She joins that now, almost extinct breed, known as the near centrist Democrat who actually care about the country. She joins such people as Zell Miller and Joe Lieberman. The fact that the Ds are so happy to see her leave just proves her point.
This does not surprise me. She is way too intelligent, too honorable and too attractive to be a democrat. Unfortunately, the republicans are only marginally better. Why is this? It is because both parties are owned and operated by good ole boy/girl networks that operate the parties for their own benefit. Only candidates that have sold their soul are allowed on the ballot. The other problem is that two thirds of the population are ignorant, gullible and cowardly. That makes them easily manipulated. Incidentally, the media approaches 100% ignorant, gullible and cowardly.
Glad to see she’s leaving the Dark Side.
Just finished the episode, pretty sure I kept hearing a screeching Freedom Bird in the background the whole time.
Now that the Democratic party has an opening, can we make them take Liz Cheney?
