Governors like Florida’s Ron DeSantis and Texas’s Greg Abbott have been sending buses full of migrants to various Democrat-led metropolises around the country, primarily New York and Washington, D.C. (not unlike the Biden administration). The most important part of this stunt is that it puts a huge spotlight on the strain these illegal migrants are putting on border towns by sending people like D.C.’s Mayor Bowser and the residents of Martha’s Vineyard into utter conniptions at a handful of transient brown people in their neighborhoods. The second most important part is that it’s funny as hell.
Mock already shared the hilariously out-of-touch meltdown of one MV resident, but we all know that people are even more ridiculous under the relative anonymity of the internet. So, with that in mind, allow me to present a Twitter thread of actual screenshots from actual MV residents.
BEHOLD:
I’m in a couple Martha’s Vineyard Facebook groups and they’re all turning on each other. Calling out their friends for not letting migrants in their summer homes pic.twitter.com/igS8dalb5a

“Permanent housing? I thought we were just doing a weekend camp out?”
“I’m not willing to let them live with me but I have some hand me down clothes. I’m a good person, right?” pic.twitter.com/gFf1A0gJ5M
Aidan Kearney is a teacher-turned-journalist/blogger. His work is controversial, apparently, but I think we can all agree that this particular reporting is exactly what the world needs right now. MORE SCREENSHOTS, PLZ.
Property value on Martha’s Vineyard is about to plummet like we’ve never seen before. I’m buying a house in West Tisbury this weekend pic.twitter.com/ADYKqRhswB

All the people bringing up the “housing crisis” in Martha’s Vineyard have me ROLLING, y’all. Like everyone’s 10-acre properties making it harder for other rich people to purchase their own 10-acre properties (or for normal people to purchase, you know, anything) is REMOTELY the same thing as an actual housing crisis in towns like Phoenix or Dallas.
According to a very reliable source the migrants will soon be put on a boat and become Falmouths problem. The national guard is being mobilized for this. 50 people. Texas deals with thousands every day with no help from the federal government. pic.twitter.com/bioYjRXquv

And also in the midst of the self-devouring leftists, an apropos reminder that a mere 50 migrants in a small, picturesque town is absolutely NOTHING compared to what actual border towns see every day.
But now back to the screenshots.
Leslie wanted them to be sent to Boston where they can vote for Ayanna Pressley in 2 months. After a year in Roxbury they’ll be begging to go back to Venezuela pic.twitter.com/Tmg1vaABM1

Sending illegal immigrants to overcrowded liberal shitholes like Los Angeles is compassionate. Sending them to beautiful island vacation destinations is traumatizing pic.twitter.com/2VPxChaT7a

Knock knock, Martha’s Vineyard residents. It’s the consequences of your own actions.

Not migrant, illegal alien. When you use the Left’s language you grant their premise.
