We got steamrolled with the amount of sheer stupidity in the last few days, and I don’t think we’ve really focused enough on what’s happening with inflation. Biden and his press secretary assure us that our current inflation is all Putin’s fault. We’re supposed to think everything will be fixed by the Inflation Reduction Act that will hire 87,000 new IRS agents. Exactly what every economic crisis needs: billions funneled into the IRS!
. . . Um, no. I’m not sure what Democrats thought Americans would find comforting, but more IRS agents ain’t it. I wouldn’t want to disagree directly with the administration and have the FBI raid my home, so I’m simply going to use the words of someone wise:
“Inflation is made in Washington because only Washington can create money. And any other attribution to other groups, of inflation, is wrong. Consumers don’t produce it. Producers don’t produce it. The trade unions don’t produce it. Foreign sheiks don’t produce it. Oil imports don’t produce it. What produces it is too much government spending and too much government creation of money, and nothing else.”
– Nobel Prize-Winning Economist Milton Friedman
I’m not saying I trust Milton Friedman’s judgement more than Joe Biden’s, because that’s a given. I’d trust a free ride from a drug dealer in Compton, alone and at night, before I’d trust Biden or anyone in his administration to give me a straight answer on literally anything, especially inflation. But Friedman knew a thing or two about a thing or two, so his views are worth serious consideration. The only people I ever see arguing with his statements online are college freshmen and lifelong college professors. Neither group counts as “real people,” so their opinions don’t count.
Joe “I have a plan for the Vid” Biden want us to blame everyone but himself and his administration for inflation, but I’m just not buying it. If someone wanted to cause a recession and run a country’s inflation through the roof, I don’t think they could do it intentionally any faster than this administration did it by accident.
Thomas Sowell wrote, “Inflation is a quiet but effective way for the government to transfer resources from the people to itself, without raising taxes.” I’ve definitely wondered if all of these idiotic moves that are worsening the state of events in the country are intentional or merely the actions of boastful idiots. It’s hard to tell, because they’re truly the dumbest of the dumb.
Senator Ted Kennedy says, “It takes a special kind of stupid to raise taxes during a recession and inflation —that’s called ‘stagflation.’ “This bill is tier one moronic.” I’d trust Kennedy to give me a ride.
I know the saying goes, “Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity,” but damn, there’s a whole lot of stupidity going on! I just can’t imagine someone being THAT stupid, but maybe I’m giving them too much credit, I don’t know. I just watched a video of Joe Biden stumbling around and trying to get his arm in his jacket. . . He’s clearly a few nuggets short of a six-piece. He’s that weird knotted up piece that got put in your box, but when they saw it they give you an extra nugget because they knew the other one didn’t count as actual meat. He’s the dried out end piece, fo sho.
I’m sure we’re probably not supposed to accuse them of deliberately tanking the country, but you know, iceberg dead ahead!
Since CNN has FINALLY admitted that the Hunter Biden story is real (and I’m still waiting on my apology for being temporarily banned for posting about it during the 2020 election), perhaps when the FBI is finished with Trump they can start looking into Hunter’s laptop? Or, I don’t know, the Epstein/Maxwell flight logs? I mean, really, if there was ever a need for a raid, you’d think these things would make the list. It’s clear they’re not going to actually focus on inflation, so what are Democrats doing these days besides wasting money and time? Are they done even pretending to lead the country??
