Interesting.
According to this, Ayanna Pressley, who suffers from alopecia, the same hair loss disorder that Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith suffers from, tweeted out this post in support of Will Smith’s violent reaction to Chris Rock’s joke about Jada at the Oscars last night:

Will Smith “defended his wife” according to Ayanna. Defended her from that SCARY SCARY VIOLENT MEAN JOKE about her starring in a GI Jane reboot. OMG THE HORROR OF JOKES.
Ayanna then proceeded to delete the tweet, with no explanation. I think it’d be a mistake to credit with her for having an Actual Change Of Heart. More than likely, she just realized it doesn’t look good for a member of Congress to advocate violence when confronted with…(checks notes)…a FREAKING JOKE by a professional comedian.
But here’s a tweet Ayanna didn’t take down.
Black and Latinx commuters are disproportionately criminalized by fare evasion policies.
Congress must pass my #FreedomtoMove Act to grant Black and brown riders the freedom to navigate their community without fear.

What the literal eff.
Black and brown subway riders shouldn’t be subject to fare evasion policies now? This is her angle? I’m guessing Ayanna would also forgive this behavior:

Ayanna is part of the idiotic squad who rallied to defund the police, because she was ostensibly concerned about white cops’ violence against black and brown people. Apparently she’s all about violence if it’s committed BY black and brown people.
Will Smith going after another black man must have made her brain short circuit for a minute or something, and she had second thoughts about supporting him.
Discuss.
