SEPTEMBER MEET AND GREET WITH THE CHICKS!

If you watched our livestream this morning then you know we revealed the location of our 2022 Meet and Greet (also affectionately being referred to as Camp Tono for reasons you understand if you’re among our most ardent of fans).

On September 10th, Daisy and I are looking forward to meeting 350 or so of our new best friends at Old McMicky’s Farm in Odessa, FL – just outside of Tampa!  We are so excited we can hardly stand it.  We looked at a TON of different venue possibilities literally all over the country, but we had a budget we needed to stick to, we wanted something that ISN’T just your typical hotel banquet room, and we had to fly a little blind on this endeavor, not really knowing exactly how to gauge potential turnout and headcount. Old McMicky’s Farm appears to be exactly the kind of place we were hoping for – casual, scenic, not buttoned-up and stuffy – plus a bartender.  🙂 PRIORITIES.

The response we’ve seen on our social platforms has been AMAZING!  Now we’re starting to genuinely be concerned that not everyone who WANTS to go will GET to go, so we are already thinking ahead to the NEXT Meet and Greet, which we are hopeful we can put together for sometime in the spring of 2023 on the opposite side of the country.  And who knows?  If both of those events go well and people want us to keep doing them, then by golly we will keep right on doing them – trying for a different location every time.  If in fact our September event does sell out, and we have disappointed folks who wanted to come but are not able to, those people will have priority when it comes to tickets for the NEXT event.  We just don’t know of a fairer way to go about this.

We expect to have a platform for buying tickets to the September event up and running before the end of this week, and we’ll be sharing that link exclusively at first with our Locals supporters and FB insiders, before opening it up to others.  We’ll make sure to keep everyone as up to date on details as we can in our daily videos, and will try to give a day or so of notice before the ticket link gets posted so y’all know what time and what day to be on the lookout for it.

One of our insiders has been working hard behind the scenes to score discounted hotel rooms for our group, so as we noted in the video this morning, you might not wanna make any travel/accommodation plans just yet as we will have a point person for travel who will likely be able to get cheaper rates for you than you might get on your own.  We’ll make sure to post information about how to get that ball rolling in the next several days.

We are so so so so excited to meet y’all.  I’ve been begging as many people on DeSantis’ team that I can to see if he can swing by! 🙂  It’s highly doubtful, but a girl can dream, right?

More details to come, obviously, but for now, just know that we’ll be in the Tampa, Florida area on the weekend of September 10th.
