Racism and white supremacy are hot topics these days, but there’s just not a whole lot of actual evidence of systemic racism and white supremacy. Just a lot of careful word manipulation by activists and some Richard Simmons-level stretching. But the race-baiters can’t admit this truth because it undermines their entire narrative. So then you end up with hoaxes.
The Jussie Smollett hoax, where the actor claimed that he was attacked by racist homophobes in order to support and perpetuate the racism-in-America narrative, when really he manufactured the entire thing by having his buddies beat him up just enough to make it look believable.
The Bubba Wallace hoax, where the NASCAR driver reported a “hate crime” when he found a “noose” hanging in his garage in the middle of the destructive and violent riots that swept the country last year. Of course, 15 federal agents determined that the “noose” was actually just a garage door pull handle that had been there for months and that no one had, in fact, snuck into the highly secure garage area, avoiding all cameras and security guards, to plant a rope with a loop (not even technically a noose) in Bubba’s garage as a hate crime.
Now we have the Albion College hoax.
For days, students have been protesting, boycotting, and marching.

The protests are in response to racist graffiti found on campus, including vile messages such as, “let’s kill all n****** on this campus,” “die n******s please,” and “KKK white power.”
In a since-deleted tweet, one student shared photos of some of the racist graffiti that sparked the campus protests (screenshots from originally shared tweet).

The graffiti is vile. It’s despicable, racist, inappropriate, and should certainly be punished. And that’s exactly what students were marching for. Protesters called for the immediate expulsion and punishment of the person responsible for the racist graffiti.
Well, the police found the responsible individual and they have video footage to support it. Additionally, the student apparently admitted responsibility for the racist graffiti that fueled several days of racial protests on campus.
The school president, Mathew Johnson, released a statement saying,
“Earlier today, we identified the individual responsible for the racist and anti-Semitic graffiti in Mitchell Towers. The student, who was acting alone, acknowledged their responsibility for these incidents, and was immediately removed from campus and placed on temporary suspension while we conduct a full investigation as part of our student judicial process.”
Plot twist.
He’s a person of color.
The guy who is responsible for the vile, hateful, racist graffiti that fueled days of racial protests on Albion College campus is, himself, black.
It was a hoax.
It was fake. Fabricated. Manufactured.
“Silence is violence!”
Despite the white supremacist graffiti turning out to be a #HateHoax by a black student, people at @albioncollege are boycotting classes again for a third day. They have a list of race-related demands. pic.twitter.com/hxX7U3KYny

So if it was all a hoax, then what was his motivation?
I highly doubt he’s actually a member of the KKK, and I highly doubt he actually espouses these disgustingly racist views. So why would he take the time to write these things around campus?
Could it be that he knew an incident like this would fuel the fire of racial protests and prop up the national racism/white supremacy narrative that is so popular today? Maybe no one would find out it was him or that it was fake, and then there would be some fresh “real evidence” of racism and white supremacy that activists could use to further their various progressive causes.
But I’m curious. Will protesters stick with their demands that the guilty party be immediately expelled from campus and face punishment? Or will the color of his skin change their demands?
