September 5, 2017Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) was on MSNBC’s “MTP Daily,” speaking about DACA tonight.
In the most important part of the clip, (starting at 3:50) Chuck Todd asks, “Do you think….is DACA, WAS DACA legal?”
She pauses.
“DACA was executive order. Legal is the law of passage of something. You know, there are ten attorneys general that are prepared to sue. I don’t want to get into that. The point is, DACA is here. And we’ve got 800,000 young people.”
“Legal is the law of passage of something,” so, um, no.
We know it, you know it, everybody knows it.
