Don’t you just love that she starts off her confrontation by saying, “Aloha?” Aloha means love, peace, and compassion, all of which this woman is sorely lacking.
This woman is batcrap.
“I’m trying not to be really rude. Ya know, I don’t want to be rude, but I’ve had enough of this sh*t.” She rages about how the beach is closed.
She really goes off the rails over the fact that their vacation rental is illegal. “Don’t bullsh*t us. Don’t bullsh*t us. You guys got a vacation home, which is illegal.” The woman threatens the group, telling them the police will arrest them.
Vacation homes for short-term rentals on the island of Oahu became illegal on Aug. 1 due to coronavirus restrictions, the New York Post reported. Wedding permits are also invalid until Sept. 4, the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources said per the same report.
People need to mind their own business. It’s not surprising that people are assaulting each other in this environment we’ve created. People are fed up with being told they cannot do things outdoors, in public places, by fiat of governors and mayors.
Hawaii locked down their beaches and parks again on August 8th. This, of course, was not done through act of a legislative body. These are just dictates that restrict freedom and truly have no basis in science.
Gov. David Ige and Mayor Kirk Caldwell announced the new order, which they call “Act With Care — Do Not Gather,” at a news conference Thursday afternoon.
It mandates that all 303 city-run parks and 18 state-operated sites on the island will be closed.
People will be allowed to “traverse” in and out of the ocean if they are engaging in water activities, but no activities will be allowed in parks or on beaches, Caldwell said.
“We need to clamp down as hard as possible on large, uncontrolled gatherings,” Caldwell said.
Running, jogging, walking and biking through the parks won’t be allowed.
At least the short-term rental ban was passed by the legislature and has nothing to do with COVID hysteria.
The New York Post reported on the reasoning behind the short-term rental law.
Certain types of short-term rentals, including renting out an entire home to tourists for a short stay, became illegal on the island of Oahu on Aug. 1 as the island seeks to curb unregulated tourism.
Beach wedding permits on the island of Oahu are invalid until Sept. 4, according to the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources. Surfing and swimming are allowed, but a social gathering on the beach is not.
What’s truly amazing is that the Gretchen women is so certain that she is in the right here, that she FILMS HERSELF being a lunatic, not realizing that she is a lunatic.
