Hey Trump fans – or haters (because you know you’re so obsessed that you’d do this, you freaks) – if you’re traveling to Queens and you have $617 to spare for the night, you can stay in the house where our President grew up.
Or if you need a place to stay for the month? $4000 bucks. What. A. Deal.
Nice touch.
Michael Davis, the real-estate developer “bought the Jamaica Estates Tudor last year, then flipped it for a nearly million-dollar profit three months later.”
...he and his business partners quickly rented the place — and are now advertising it on the home-sharing Web site for $617 a night.
“We think lots of people will want to stay there,” Davis said. “It’s good value, and it’s a part of history regardless of people’s political affiliations.”
The home has five bedrooms and sleeps 20 people.
Davis said the house is furnished in “presidential style” — with antiques and chintz chairs — and the living room boasts a life-sized cutout of Trump.
I’m not planning on going to Queens anytime soon – or ever, for that matter – but if I did plan on going there and I had disposable cash, I’d do this. I love Airbnb, and I think this would be fun little trip through history.
What about y’all?
