YOU GUYS.
Thanks to a clever and competent follower, Jason, I have become aware of a podcast that Ashley Judd appeared in three days ago, in which she acknowledges that she has a HUSBAND who’s on the faculty of Harvard (because of course), with whom she’s quarantining (along with FIVE CHILDREN and her husband’s brother and sister-in-law) in Switzerland, where he gave a talk when Covid first became A Thing.
Now, normally, this would be Page Six/Daily Mail/Other Tabloid-worthy news. But even though this podcast has been posted for three days, LITERALLY NO ONE CARES, apparently. Before publishing this post, I googled “Ashley Judd husband” and “Ashley Judd married” etc., and nothing came up but old posts about Dario Franchitti, who of course divorced her years ago and now has two lovely kids with an absolute UPGRADE of a wife.
PS. In the eight minute mark of this podcast, she says she “reached the up with which she could no longer put,” and I died LOL all over again. That go-to phrase is as predictable as the God Of Her Understanding. This was after the first few minutes of the interview during which she takes these long pregnant pauses to describe her life in quarantine with the largest words she can conjure up. It’s so painfully obvious that that’s what she’s doing, that it amazes me the two nice fellows interviewing her don’t laugh out loud.
In case you’re wondering, her life in quarantine has been “idle and innocent,” among other things. She’s “holding the complexity of trauma and catastrophe,” too. And it’s “very unwieldy.” Check out the first 10 minutes or so of the podcast right here – it’s episode 14.
