A journalist somewhere in Texas was called out by a grocery store shopper for increasing the fear and panic that we see around the nation.
As she is finishing up her broadcast in front of the Texas grocery store chain, HEB, the man tells her that she is part of the problem.
We have seen the media use this pandemic to incite mass panic and fear throughout the nation. They have told us that the doomsday scenarios that my father has been preparing for, for years has finally come. This brings out the worst in people.
The media has been rooting for a chance to ruin our country while Trump has been in office, and they have seized the opportunity with the coronavirus. This guy just calls it like it is. The cameraman asks the guy why he is at the store at 6 am? The guy had the perfect response. “I am reacting to other people.” They caused this panic and expected us not to go shopping?

We have seen pictures and videos of buying panic buying toilet paper and bottled water. We have seen people getting into fistfights over the last package of toilet paper. What we haven’t seen enough of yet is people going out of their way to help their neighbors.
We know this virus disproportionately affects the elderly in our community. We need to be allowing them a chance to pick up their groceries and medications that they need to stay safe. The reality is that if we get it and you are not immune-compromised we will be fine, but your grandmother may not be able to recover.
