CNN’s Erin Burnett Thinks Faith Leaders Praying Over Trump Is ‘Very Strange’

A few days ago, a photo emerged, showing faith leaders praying over President Trump in the Oval Office. It gave me chills. Faith is a huge part of my life, beliefs and values, and it was so refreshing to see that back in the White House.

That’s one thing I really love about Trump. He’s totally open to seeking wisdom from the Lord. He’s not freaked out by Christians laying their hands on him and pouring out blessings. He’s all for it. I don’t know about his personal relationship with God, but I know that he’s willing to allow faith leaders to cover him in prayer. In the very least, it shows a sign of humility. Trump knows he can’t do this on his own. He needs God’s help. And for the record, God used some pretty screwy individuals in the Bible, so I don’t care if he doesn’t “look the part.” All throughout the Bible, God used major screw ups– adulterers, murderers, doubters, you name it. Heck, despite David’s many massive screw ups, God called him a man after His own heart. Let that simmer.

Needless to say, I’m not freaked out by men and women laying their hands on the President of the United States. It’s a beautiful picture. It truly brings us back to our roots. Our Founding Fathers knew they couldn’t do anything without the assistance of Divine Providence. Our country was founded on that idea. And here we are in 2017, continuing to seek guidance from the Lord. I love it.

But CNN doesn’t love it. In fact, it freaks CNN personalities out. Take, for instance, Erin Burnett.

“Something we don’t see everyday here. The image of Donald Trump praying in the Oval Office and…all of those…hands, on him,” she said Wednesday. “And next, a pretty stunning image, let me just give you a quick peek of it.”

“The President bowing his head in prayer in the Oval Office and all these people sort of, touching him….it’s very strange,” she added. “We’re going to tell you what happened there.”

Did you catch that? “It’s very strange.” People praying over the President of the United States is strange. Interesting word choice, isn’t it? The left usually avoids that word at all costs, because when you describe something as “strange,” there’s a negative connotation attached. Shall we talk about all of the things that the left hasn’t characterized as “very strange”?

Praying over the president = very strange

Identifying as the opposite gender = not strange

Praying over the president = very strange

Screaming over non-existent rape culture = not strange

Praying over the president = very strange

Walking around topless for “gender equality” = not strange

Praying over the president = very strange

Identifying as a genderqueer pansexual mermaid = not strange

Praying over the president = very strange

Going out in public and plopping paint-filled eggs out of your ladyparts for the sake of feminism = not strange

Praying over the president = very strange

Believing that biological sex is a social construct = not strange

Praying over the president = very strange

A genderless driver’s license = not strange

Praying over the president = very strange

Requiring police departments to undergo transgender sensitivity training = not strange

Praying over the president = very strange

Expecting women in the Army to accept transitioning men in their showers = not strange

Praying over the president = very strange

Possibly being fined for using the wrong pronoun when talking to a trans person = not strange

Praying over the president = very strange

White chick pretending to be a black chick = not strange

Praying over the president = very strange

A mother and son transitioning into a father and daughter = not strange

Praying over the president = very strange

PETA suing a photographer on behalf of a monkey = not strange

Praying over the president = very strange

I think you get the point. Liberals are the last people on the PLANET who have a say in what is and what is not strange. Back off and sit down, Erin.
