CNN Anchor Defends Linda Sarsour’s ‘Jihad’ Comments

Over the weekend, Women’s March organizer/anti-Israel tool/Sharia-loving, terrorist-sympathizing lunatic Linda Sarsour spoke at the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) convention and told her fellow Muslims that Allah accepts rejecting the Trump administration as a form of jihad. (As you know, jihad is the word typically used to describe the holy war against non-believers.)

“A word of truth in front of a tyrant ruler or leader, that is the best form of jihad,” she said.

“And I hope that we, when we stand up to those who oppress our communities, that Allah accepts us from us that as a form of jihad, that we are struggling against tyrants and rulers, not only abroad in the Middle East or on the other side of the world, but here, in these United States of America, where you have fascists and white supremacists and Islamophobes reigning in the White House,” she added.

She also told Muslims to refuse to assimilate.

“Our number one and top priority is to protect and defend our community, it is not to assimilate and please any other people and authority,” she said. “Our obligation is to our young people, is to our women, to make sure our women are protected in our community.”

“Our top priority and even higher than all those other priorities is to please Allah and only Allah,” she added.

But listen. You’re all overreacting. So what if she invoked jihad? What’s the problem here? CNN’s Chris Cuomo certainly doesn’t see it.

Google jihad, Cuomo. The definition reads, “a struggle or fight against the enemies of Islam.” Enemies of Islam. As in, us. You can say jihad is subject to interpretation…

… but most of us are familiar with Islamic terrorists waging jihad by running over pedestrians with vehicles and stabbing them. Sarsour knows darn well how we all perceive the word “jihad.”

Sarsour knew exactly what she was doing, and despicable media toads like Chris Cuomo defend her anyway.

Even if we forget the “jihad” comment, she instructed Muslims not to assimilate. She essentially told them to reject Western values.

That’s despicable. You should AT LEAST have a problem with that, Cuomo.
