Army Says Female Soldiers Have To Accept Transitioning Men Into Showers

I HATE that the Cult of Social Justice has turned the branches of the American military into grounds for their bizarre social gender experiments, rather than the prestigious fighting forces that they’re meant to be.

But, you know – anything to keep America from being that MEEEEEEEAN global bully that progressives like to screech about.

According to this, the Army has declared that female soldiers are just going to have to accept men who are in the process of transitioning into women into their barracks and showers. And by “in the process of transitioning,” they mean that some of these “women” will likely still have the physical appearance of men – including male genitalia.

And if a female soldier has a problem with that – stop being transphobic! You bigot!

The policy prioritizes subjective feelings over combat-readiness and inverts military order by placing the needs of individuals over the well-being of their units.

The policy allows transgender soldiers to switch their “gender marker” in the Army’s personnel database without undergoing sex reassignment surgery or any other physical changes.

For example, “Vignette Four” of the training module presents the following scenario: “following her transition from male to female (which did not include sex reassignment surgery) and gender marker change in DEERS [DEERS is the military’s personnel database], a transgender Soldier begins using female barracks, bathroom and shower facilities. Because she did not undergo a surgical change, the Soldier still has male genitalia.”

And yes, someone made a PowerPoint presentation about this (The Federalist ended up with a copy of it). There is actual TRAINING involved in this lunacy –

Physical training? Weapons training? Nah, none of that’s important. What REALLY matters is re-educating soldiers so they don’t bat an eye at the sight of a dude who thinks he’s a chick walking into the women’s showers!

Priorities, y’all.

Of course, this is all a remnant of the Obama-era policy of focusing on gender politics in the military, rather than the military actually doing what its meant to do. Defense Secretary James Mattis has delayed former Defense Secretary Ash Carter’s decree that the military incorporate transgender people into the military by six months –

The delay does not prevent currently serving soldiers from transitioning, however. It is intended to give the joint chiefs more time to review and mitigate the Obama-era rule’s impact on the “readiness and lethality of our [armed] forces.”

This is just one big mess of a policy and it’s going to take some time to get it sorted out. Thanks, Obama.
