Kids. Gotta love ’em.
Indiana Gov. Mike Pence spoke at a rally in North Carolina Wednesday and got a very unexpected question from an 11-year-old boy.
“Good morning Governor Pence,” the boy said. “I’ve been watching the news lately, and I’ve been noticing that you have been kind of softening up on Mr. Trump’s–uh–policies and words. Is this going to be your role in the administration?”
Pence, being the good-natured guy that he is, went with it.

“What I’ve learned, Matthew, and you’ll learn it when you’re governor of North Carolina–I’m not kidding about that– sometimes things don’t always come out like you mean, right? And Donald Trump and I are absolutely determined to work together,” Pence said.
“We have different styles,” Pence added. “You might have noticed that.”
That’s for sure. I didn’t know much about Mike Pence at first, but so far so good. He’s polite, soft-spoken and humble. He’s an unabashed conservative. He really does balance the ticket out.
