It’s like feminists wake up each day and think “What’s the dumbest thing we can screech about today?”
According to this, some chick named Whitney Way Thore (the article says she’s a reality TV personality. I’ve never heard of her, though) took to Facebook to gripe about some guy at a gas station asking her to smile. The dude probably thought she was having a bad day and wanted to cheer her up. Which, apparently, is something that you never, ever, EVER ask a sour-faced feminist to do (and if you do, she’ll whine about it on social media. Because FEMALE EMPOWERMENT!) –

Does she sounds like a petulant child throwing a temper tantrum to you too?
Look, I get grouchy and upset for various things. Everybody has those moments. When I’m mad about something, the LAST thing I want is someone (male or female) telling me to be happy. It’s easier to stay grumpy (in a bizarre way, it’s almost more fun to be grumpy). But I look at it from the other person’s perspective – particularly if it’s someone who cares about me, like my mom or dad or my friends or my fiance. But even if it’s a total stranger trying to cheer me up, it doesn’t matter. The point is that they don’t want me to feel like crap. They want me to be happy. And they try to cheer me up in any way they know how. Sometimes that’s tell me to smile. Whether or not it works – well, depends on a lot of things. But that’s not being sexist. And in the case of a stranger trying to help me out, that’s actually thoughtful and kind. It probably has nothing to do with being male or female, either.
(Do feminists even know what “sexist” means? Really? Their definitions on these things are all kinds of messed up.)
If nothing else, this proves that liberal feminists really are bitter and mean women who want everyone to be as bitter and mean as they are. In fact, probably the most effective way you could tick off a liberal feminist is to be happy and find joy in your life.
I could think of worse ways to fight back.
