Guess Who Showed Up To United States Senate Yesterday?

Um, gentlemen? Whatcha dooooooin’? Making some herbal tea while your wives are shoveling snow in your driveways?

Just wondering. Because y’all didn’t show up to work yesterday, but your Chick-counterparts sure did.

I’m not going to say that I’m shocked by the fact that two Republican women, Sens. Susan Collins (R-ME) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) “found themselves the only members on the Senate floor surrounded by an all-female cadre of pages and clerks” yesterday. Nope. I’m not that shocked. I mean, these are politician-dudes who are used to having cush lives with cush gigs. So I’m sure they were all, “woo hoooooooooooo! SNOW DAAAAAY!”

Might I point out that many of these women also had pearls on. What do you want to bet that they were well-accessorized when they gave birth, too?
