You Can Face Greater Consequences For Killing A Certain Turtle Than For Killing A Child In Abortion

A number of states are taking serious steps to preserve and protect the lives of the unborn, including Georgia, Ohio, Mississippi, Missouri, Kentucky and Alabama. Feminists, however, are determined to fight for a woman’s “right” to terminate her child before birth. Meanwhile, people can face greater consequences for harming the fetus of a protected turtle.

It’s called Florida’s Marine Turtle Protection Act, and it actually states, “A person, firm, or corporation that illegally takes, disturbs, mutilates, destroys, causes to be destroyed, transfers, sells, offers to sell, molests, or harasses any marine turtle species or hatchling, or parts thereof, or the eggs or nest of any marine turtle species described in this subsection commits a felony of the third degree.“

An individual can face a felony of the third degree for harming this specific turtle, and feminists don’t seem to question it. Why then, is it so difficult for the left to protect human life with the same passion?

Instead, they light up the World Trade Center in New York to “celebrate” a woman’s “right” to murder her child for whatever reason. At the time, Gov. Cuomo described the pro-abortion law as a “victory.”

“The Reproductive Health Act is a historic victory for New Yorkers and for our progressive values,” he said. “In the face of a federal government intent on rolling back Roe v. Wade and women’s reproductive rights, I promised that we would enact this critical legislation within the first 30 days of the new session – and we got it done. I am directing that New York’s landmarks be lit in pink to celebrate this achievement and shine a bright light forward for the rest of the nation to follow.”
