Ben Shapiro Goes Off On ‘British Douchebag’ Piers Morgan

Every single time there’s a gun-related controversy in America, Piers Morgan puffs out his chest and struts around like he has all the answers. GUNZ BAD. NO GUNZ GOOD. Say it like a caveman. That’s how Piers Morgan sounds in my head.

On Monday afternoon, Morgan decided to pound his chest and asked why any of us “need” semi-automatic weapons. Here’s how the conversation started.

AR-15s aren’t going away and they aren’t the problem. Maybe we should have a realistic conversation for a change.

As I wrote to Sen. Feinstein, who asked a very similar craptastic question:

It’s “necessary to the security of a free State.” Our ability to stand up against the government is the ONLY thing standing between us and tyranny. The Second Amendment preserves our liberty. You can say, “Well we live in a different age now! We’re so modern and progressive,” but that’s a load. Human nature doesn’t change. The Founding Fathers knew that. They KNEW no matter how “advanced” we become, government would ALWAYS have the tendency to grow too big and intrusive. They knew we needed a permanent safeguard. Hence, the second part of the Second Amendment: “…the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

In other words, the Second Amendment is about the people’s ability to stand up against tyranny and douchenozzles like you who want us to give up our rights. That’s why I need it. Luckily for me, the Second Amendment ALSO explicitly states that it’s none of your business. Shall not be infringed.

Shoot dove, ducks, rabbits…most shotguns are semi autos. Many .22 are semi autos. Always the law of unintended consequences applies to legislation.

WRONG a$$hat. A “well-regulated Militia” translates to, quite literally, able-bodied individuals who know how to use their weapons. The “Militia” was made up by civilians and maintained and controlled by…civilians. It wasn’t operated by the state. Otherwise, the entire Second Amendment wouldn’t make any sense. An entity controlled and maintained by the government is necessary to keep the people free from the government? The government is a safeguard against the government? That makes absolutely NO sense. Try again maybe?
