Charlie Kirk’s Friends Celebrate His Legacy
September 12, 2025
Published by Haley Myrick on September 12, 2025

I am not unique in my response to the murder of Charlie Kirk.

Heartbreak. Anger. Disgust. Despair.

We’ve all been on a roller coaster of grief since his assassination on September 10, especially Christian conservatives.

As I watched the event unfold, I knew why this murder felt personal: because it was. My family and many of my friends’ families look eerily like Charlie’s. We’re all almost the same age as he was, love God, are conservative, and have small children. When they shot at Charlie, they didn’t just go after one man—they took a shot at all of us.

Former college classmates I had the misfortune of knowing immediately took to social media to discuss the “nuance” of the situation…as if an innocent man being publicly slaughtered has any nuance to it at all.

These same pathetic individuals tried desperately to paint themselves as the victim in the situation. Surely now the big, scary conservatives are going to come out in droves to get us! Whatever will we do?!

It’s funny how a straight, white, Christian man being murdered means leftists are in danger. But then again, logic has never been one of their strong suits.

Luckily for liberals, they can rest easy. Conservatives will be too busy praying, going to work, raising their babies, and being more successful than they are to stoop to violence. It isn’t how we roll.

Now, that isn’t to say we will be taking this evil act lying down. I think all of us felt a shift in our country after Charlie’s murder. We must be bolder, and more importantly, we must stop acting like the insane leftist ideology permeating our society is acceptable. Conservatives are inherently very polite, but we can’t play nice anymore. We need to point out insanity publicly, and LOUDLY.

Nick Freitas said it perfectly:

… I don’t want to “stand in solidarity” with the other side of the aisle. I want to defeat you. I want to defeat the godless ideology that kills babies in the womb, sterilizes confused children, turns our cities into cesspools of degeneracy and lawlessness…and that murdered Charlie Kirk.

Amen to that.

They couldn’t beat Charlie Kirk with logic, so the cowards murdered him. It was a cheap shot. And the sound of that shot should continue to ring in the ears of every ticked off Christian in our country. Never back down to these bullies. Continue to speak boldly and call out these lunatics for what they are: pathetic losers.

Pray for Charlie’s sweet family, for wisdom, and for our country. We have a lot of work to do.

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Whosoever therefore shall confess Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in heaven.  – Matthew 10:28-32
