Everything is bonkers. EVERYTHING. And the reason I know that is because I actually am in agreement with one of the insufferable Krassenstein brothers about something – namely, the fact that CMT canceling Jason Aldean’s song is completely nonsensical. BEHOLD.
Jason Aldean's Song Canceled!

As someone who thinks that the whole ANTIFA narrative that the right pushes is mostly exaggerated BS, I have to say that I think it's quite pathetic that CMT has basically canceled Jason Aldean's 'Try That in a Small Town' music video.

Jason Aldean’s Song Canceled! As someone who thinks that the whole ANTIFA narrative that the right pushes is mostly exaggerated BS, I have to say that I think it’s quite pathetic that CMT has basically canceled Jason Aldean’s ‘Try That in a Small Town’ music video. Before I post the lyrics, understand this. Rioting is bad. Breaking into stores to steal merchandise is bad. Car jacking and injuring police are bad things. These things could legally get you shot. No where does Aldean ever mention race, or make this political in any way. There are legitimately bad things that people do and say. Aldean’s song is NOT one of them. People need to stop overreacting and start listening.
Lyrics below (please find me a line that you are angry about): Sucker punch somebody on a sidewalk Carjack an old lady at a red light Pull a gun on the owner of a liquor store Ya think it’s cool, well, act a fool if ya like Cuss out a cop, spit in his face Stomp on the flag and light it up Yeah, ya think you’re tough Well, try that in a small town See how far ya make it down the road Around here, we take care of our own You cross that line, it won’t take long For you to find out, I recommend you don’t Try that in a small town Got a gun that my granddad gave me They say one day they’re gonna round up Well, that shit might fly in the city, good luck Try that in a small town See how far ya make it down the road Around here, we take care of our own You cross that line, it won’t take long For you to find out, I recommend you don’t Try that in a small town Full of good ol’ boys, raised up right If you’re looking for a fight Try that in a small town Try that in a small town Try that in a small town See how far ya make it down the road Around here, we take care of our own You cross that line, it won’t take long For you to find out, I recommend you don’t Try that in a small town Try that in a small town Ooh-ooh Try that in a small town
If you want to be heard and taken seriously on legitimate issues like gun control and racial injustice, then at least stop taking things that should not be taken seriously so seriously.
Here’s the song:
Everything is stupid. This song is completely fine. It’s necessary, even. Good, decent, law abiding people are sick and tired of the insane behavior by Antifa, leftist rioters, looters, etc. Small town energy is what’s needed to put an end to it.

People who say this is racist are (more than) implying that it’s the black people doing the looting. That sounds like a racist position to me.
We live in a world where everything is racist except actual racists.
“If you’re not racist, you’re racist!”
I don’t know how so many of the nutballs don’t see that is exactly what they are saying.
