CAN YOU EVEN BELIEVE THIS.
The televised mental institution of MSNBC is floating John Fetterman as a presidential candidate.

I mean, what in the actual eff. What is our world right now.
Is this the Metaverse? Have we been hurled into some sort of Zuckerbergian scientific experiment without knowing it? There is no way that Actual Humans are suggesting Fetterman BECOME LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD. Is it just that now that we’ve all gotten used to being presidented by a dementia-ridden old nutcase that just anything goes now? Is that where we are?
Fetterman isn’t fit to serve as a Senator, but Pennsylvanians are apparently high as a kite and voted for him anyway. But PRESIDENT? Is this chick for real?
OMG.

In all fairness, while Fetterman was a very poor choice, Oz was worse in many ways. That Trump pushed for him to be the candidate in the primaries was a big mistake. I don’t know of many people in any state who like the idea of an outsider coming from another state – New Jersey no less! – just to run for the senate. It left a very bad taste in people’s mouths and discouraged voting for him. While I did, if the Democrats had put up any better candidate than Fetterman, the would have likely gotten my vote.
Based on what we know, why isn’t he fit? And “raving socialist” isn’t an answer- it should be but it’s not.
Verbal language comprehension in a job where all anyone basically does is talk? Particularly since he seems to have as much trouble sending as receiving? Also in the interview where he was given real time text translation he still didn’t seem to quite understand what was going on though that might just be because he’s a politician and they tend to do that deliberately.
So deaf people are unfit for the Senate?

Of everyone here you are the last person from which I’d expect a straw-man. Particularly one I already addressed…
It’s not a straw man, it was a question that naturally follows your “verbal language comprehension” assertion.
An ability to communicate verbally isn’t a disqualifying factor, especially with modern technology. We don’t know if he can do something like typing out his thoughts and using a text to speech program. And we don’t know if taking an extra minute to digest what he reads helps him be “average” in his comprehension.
And we don’t know if he has cognitive problems, which has been my point through multiple comment treads here. Stop “attacking” him for what is imagined – it makes you (royal) look petty, and “attack” him for what is proven- mainly, he is a socialist nutbag. Now, if he shows he has cognitive problems (shakes hands with invisible people, gets lost in his yard, falls asleep during interviews, etc.), then go after him on his mental breakdown.
