The people at Awana need to calm the hell down. They are taking themselves WAY TOO SERIOUSLY.
Awana is threatening to sue the Babylon Bee, the Christian satire website, for a funny post they made showing Donald Trump completing his Awana vest.
The piece is freaking hilarious. Here is a little excerpt:
President Trump and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi are firing Bible photo ops back and forth, as you would expect politicians to be doing at a time like this.
But Trump won the contest of Bible knowledge by showing off his completed Awana Sparks vest today. He dusted off the old red vest and solemnly put it on at a rally this morning. The president proved he knows the Bible way better than other politicians by proudly displaying his old Sparks vest complete with awards for Bible memory.
The lawsuit threat is ridiculous and frivolous. Awana should be embarassed to be attacking a Christian website and thinking of wasting any money on suing over this obvious joke.

With all the nonsense going on today, Babylon Bee gives me reason to smile every day. The wit and humor from their writing team is top notch.
Seth Dillon, owner of Babylon Bee, called out Awana on Twitter for the threat.
The chief communications officer at @Awana is threatening to sue us if we don't take this down. The claim is that this article is "beyond satire" — whatever that means — and contains offensive material (an image of the president of the United States).https://t.co/ZyySjIhoE4

Dillon also asked Awana what has changed they liked the satirical piece the Bee did poking fun at Awana in 2016.
What changed?https://t.co/LHVsTcam7N
