Right After Smollett Is Cleared of Charges, His Show ‘Empire’ Gets Worst News Possible

If you’re anything like me, this whole Jussie Smollett thing has you completely up a wall.

I mean… I’m just so incredibly frustrated at the fact that our justice system CLEARLY operates on different levels for different people.

Jussie complains about being an underrepresented victim. Are you kidding me? He is now the POSTER BOY of privilege.

Do you think you or me could have done what he did and get away with it? No. Freaking. Way.

Meanwhile, many of the cast and crew of his show seem to be incredibly supportive of him. In their minds, justice has been served. At least, that’s what they say.

Well, that’s coming back to bite them. Big time.

Jussie Smollett has been in the news for the past two months for staging a hate crime on himself and blaming it on Trump supporters. Smollett was facing 16 counts until earlier this week when the unthinkable happened and Chicago prosecutors decided to drop all his charges.

According to TVLine, Wednesday night’s episode of Empire dropped to 3.97 million viewers. This all-time low follows last week’s low performance of only 4 million total viewers.

It just keeps getting worse and worse for them.

America wants NOTHING to do with anyone who would enable this man.

The ratings for the Fox drama have been in a free fall since Smollett allegedly planned a hoax attack against himself. Two weeks ago, the show’s fifth season debut episode dropped 35 percent in the ratings compared to last year.

Karma, folks.
