Ok. Let’s read the article, shall we?

For years, the Department of Homeland Security has operated a fake university in the Detroit suburbs as part of an undercover operation that lured undocumented immigrants seeking to obtain fraudulent student visas.

Now, eight people from around the country have been indicted for “conspiracy to commit visa fraud and harboring aliens for profit,” as part of an elaborate scheme to aid as many as 600 foreign nationals in remaining in the United States illegally.

The Daily Beast does their best to hide when this started… but their original source, the Detroit News, DOES:

Starting in 2015, the university was part of an undercover operation dubbed “Paper Chase” and designed to identify recruiters and entities engaged in immigration fraud, according to the indictment. Homeland Security agents started posing as university officials in February 2017.

STARTING IN 2015.

So…I’m not here to argue whether this is “disgusting” or not. I’m here simply to point out how ABSURDLY HYPOCRITICAL this all is. Was Alyssa “disgusted” by this back when Obama authorized it?

Probably not.
