Democrats are beginning to jump into the next presidential race. So far, we have Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, Sen. Kamala Harris, Mayor Pete Buttigieg and almost Julian Castro. (Or did he officially jump in? See? I can’t even bring myself to care.)
We have another dude who’s likely jumping into the fray.
*drumroll please*
Two sources with direct knowledge of his plans told Yahoo News that Sanders, an independent and self-described “democratic socialist,” plans to announce his presidential bid imminently. While Sanders has been considering a bid for months, one of the sources said he was emboldened by early polls of the race that have consistently showed him as one of the top candidates in a crowded Democratic primary field.
Oh yeah. The Bern might be coming back. Start stocking up on some cream.

However, Bernie’s senior adviser Josh Orton tweeted this back:
No decision is imminent. Enjoy your weekend. https://t.co/v3tMRxztsP

Still– he didn’t shoot down the idea completely. Bernie’s thinking it over.
The Democratic Primary is going to be something else. (I’m still hoping they replace at least one debate with a talent show, TBH.)
