This just in. Sen. Rand Paul has to get surgery. It’s related to the injuries he suffered after his neighbor attacked him. The thing is, he’s going to Canada to get this surgery, and libs are salivating. They’re mocking him for going to the “land of socialized medicine” to get the procedure done.
The thing is, it has nothing to do with Canada’s universal health care system and everything to do with the fact that he’s seeing world-renowned specialists for this particular surgery. According to this, Shouldice Hospital “touts itself as a world leader in ‘non-mesh hernia repair.'”
Libs are salivating.

BREAKING: Rand Paul, who constantly attacks socialize medicine, has decided to travel to Canada to take advantage of socialized medicine during his Hernia operation.
HYPOCRITE!
We need Medicare for all, RIGHT NOW!

He’s paying out of pocket for a world-renowned specialist. This has nothing to do with Canada’s socialized health care program being “awesome.”
“This is a private, world-renowned hospital separate from any system and people come from around the world to pay cash for their services,” a spokesperson told POLITICO.
Stick that in your piehole, libs.
Did you miss the part where Rand Paul is paying for the surgery out of pocket in one of Canada's only privately run medical centers, or do the facts not fit your stupid narrative about how a capitalist is using a socialist system? https://t.co/S15GF6Qua7

hey, dummy, Rand Paul is paying out of pocket at a private facility so he can see a specialist, this has nothing to do w/ universal healthcare.
I had my disagreements with @RandPaul before, but this fake news attack on him is shameful. https://t.co/mBBGsZKdD4

The hospital Rand Paul is going to is a private, pay by cash specialist and has nothing to do with universal healthcare but the Left doesn't seem to care about facts here

Not mentioned: @RandPaul is receiving treatment at one of the only privately run medical facilities in Canada. How did this get thru your editors @USATODAY? https://t.co/u42gtiDA2C

Attention fact-challenged media: “More fake news on a story that has been reported terribly from day one – this is a PRIVATE, world renowned hospital and people come from around the world to PAY CASH for their services.” It’s literally the opposite of socialized medicine.

It is one of a handful of private hospitals grandfathered to exist outside of their normal healthcare laws. Try fact checking, it’s not hard.
— Doug Stafford (@dougstafford) January 14, 2019
But don’t take my word for it, even though it’s easily proven to be factual – https://t.co/qN8wCIJ11X

Sorry universal health care lovin’ Dems. Try again, maybe?
