She didn’t say “first Native American women in the House.” She said CONGRESS, which means we’re talking about the House and Senate.
This presents an awkward problem for presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren. It’s almost like her colleagues in the other chamber don’t recognize her Native American heritage or something!
