Best Thanksgiving sides? And GO! Sweet potato casserole. Green bean casserole. Smashed potatoes. Stuffing. Turnip. Rolls. Butternut squash. Carrots. Cranberry sauce. GRAVY ALL THE GRAVY.
What’s the most popular side in YOUR region? Five Thirty Eight got to the bottom of it.

A couple of thoughts:
1.) Why are mashed potatoes not on the list?
2.) Salad? SALAD? SAAAALAAAAAD? No. Salad is NOT a Thanksgiving side. I rebuke that.
Salad? If someone brings salad to Thanksgiving kick them out. They aren’t contributing. They just showing up with some lettuce and trying to eat better food.

Me too. Salad should NOT be eaten on Thanksgiving. Period. Plus there’s that whole E. coli outbreak in romaine lettuce. See? Another reason to skip the salad.
