Many have wondered for a while if ‘Beto’ O’Rourke is ACTUALLY trying to win his Senate race against Ted Cruz.
He’s not really running a campaign in Texas… he’s running a NATIONAL campaign. He has Democratic support (and HYUGE sums of money) coming in from all over the country.
Does Beto REALLY have his sights set on Texas?
…or is he looking at 2020?
Today, a DAY before the midterms, he’s putting those questions to rest:
“I will not be a candidate for president in 2020,” Beto O’Rourke tells @GarrettHaake.
“That’s I think as definitive as those sentences get.” https://t.co/aLDxTCMo4q pic.twitter.com/jPdiTZHOiS

Yeeeah. We’re gonna hold you to that, Beto.
PS:
Spoiler: He won’t be a senator in 2020 either. https://t.co/nGWRIWBsbw

HAHAHHA. Not a CHANCE.
His lil’ minions are still holding on to their ‘Beto’ for president DREAMS!
That’s reasonable. But he will run one day, because he was born for it. #VoteBeto

But…..he never said anything about 2024 😏

Never say never.

Um, he didn’t say “never,” Betsy. No one did. He’s certainly running in 2024.
And the cute part they actually think he’s winning THIS race:
Good for him! If he wins his Senate race, he owes it to the people of TX to serve out his term undistracted. Now 2024, on the other hand…I hope he runs with all the passion he’s showing in his Senate race.

Because with any luck he’ll be well into his term as junior senator from Texas. 😁#BetoForTexas#LoseCruz

He should stay in the Senate and finish out his term. He owes it to the people of TX and it will be excellent experience and he’ll be able to cultivate the relationships he’ll need for a successful presidential run in 2024.

That’s cuz he’s all in for 2024 duh

God Bless ‘Em.
My guess is he’ll be busy sorting out that whole “illegally using campaign money to aid the migrant caravan” thing.
