Thousands of troops are being deployed to the Southern border, and they’re taking action ahead of the migrant caravan’s arrival. Actually, I should’ve said caravans, because there are now three.
What are the men and women deployed to the border currently doing, you ask?
Laying barbed wire.
The soldiers worked with US Customs and Border Patrol officers to lay about 1,000 feet of fencing along the river, the Defense Department said. The makeshift barrier was installed underneath the McAllen-Hidalgo International Bridge, which crosses into Mexico. The overpass is in the small town of Hidalgo, about 250 miles south of San Antonio.
…
A Border Patrol spokesman said in an email to The Post the fencing was part of “necessary preparations” for the caravans.

Libs are freaking out, because Trump called the barbed wire a “beautiful sight.”
“I saw that beautiful barbed wire going up,” Trump said at a campaign rally in Montana over the weeekend. “Beautiful sight.”
I just don’t see how or why anyone would be offended by barbed wire. They’re all, “OMG THAT WILL HURT PEOPLE.” Um..it’s called SECURING OUR BORDER. It PREVENTS people from trying to come into our country illegally. If they don’t want to get hurt, then don’t climb our fence and think you’re going to get into this country illegally. It’s really that simple!
